J.T: The simplest tasks seem like an impossible challenge.
“The simplest tasks seem like an impossible challenge. Forcing myself to eat on a daily bases. Dealing with black-outs, fainting and increasing Anxiety with every passing day. My depression forced me into a cave of isolation, where I could control my own little world. I could let in the happy or keep it away. But I could never seem to find the excitement of leaving the house, having friends over, or…well, living. “

What do you believe caused this medical condition?
My Father was never around and my mother was an alcoholic. This lead to my brother trying to join in and raise me. Sadly, he is older than me and was busy with varsity and his own life (Can’t hold it against him) which meant, my spiral of becoming “OK” with being alone began.
I was always picked on in school. I never once went out of my way to hurt anyone, yet I was getting beaten nearly every second day of high school. This eventually lead to me being home schooled.
What type of medications have you been taking that were prescribed to you by your doctor?
What side effects did you experience from the medication prescribed by your doctor?
Increased suicidal thoughts and actions
Inability to swallow at stages
Decreased Sex drive (Unable to orgasm)
What type of alternative medicine have you tried aside from your doctor’s recommendation? When did you start?
I started treating myself with Tetrahydrocannabinol and Cannabidiol roughly 2-3 years ago, although not my first time experimenting with marijuana, it was my first time using it as a Medicinal plant rather than a Recreational plant. The immediate effects blew my mind and opened up my dark world.
Within 15 minutes of my first inhale, I was eating.
Within in 30 min, I fell asleep.
I had my energy back and I had a smile on my face. Almost like old paint chipping off with each inhale.
How have you felt since you started using the alternative medicine compared to that of your prescribed medications?
I have becoming reasonable (Not acting on emotion i.e. short fuse)
Well Rested (Still some sleepless nights, mostly when not medicated)
Working appetite (Not the best, still binge now and then, but I’m eating)
I now have the focus and mindset that allows me to be a General Manager of an Academy
I’m playing music again
I’m leaving the house to visit friends
Will you continue using alternative medicine to treat your conditions?
From here until the day I die. My life has purpose again because of this magical, powerful plant.
What do you wish others to know about using cannabis as alternative medicine?
It’s a plant, not a drug. Always remember that.
Treat your symptoms before they escalate.
Is there anything else you’d like to add?
Never leave a medical issue unresolved, especially when the cure has been growing on this planet since the dawn of time
